The proposed text amendments, identified as TA 25-0002, are submitted by the Anson County Planning & Zoning Department and aim to address the following: Correct scrivener's errors Establish standards for Taxidermy Establish standards for Ex Situ Remediation Revise standards for Extraction of Earth Materials Establish a lot size exemption for reduction of lot area deficiencies in RA zoned districts Establish a subdivision exemption for public or quasi-public utility purposes Establish a subdivision exemption for family (private) cemetery in RA zoned districts The Anson County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at 6:00PM at the Anson County Government Center, 101 South Greene St., Board Room 209, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
