Public Notice of Wastewater Spill The Anson County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant had a wastewater spill on Monday, January 16, 2026, of an estimated 33,600 gallons from an air relief valve located near Brown Creek Pumping Station 7216 US Hwy 74 W. The failure resulted in wastewa- ter entering Brown Creek. The situation has been remediated, and we have observed no adverse effects on the environment or wild- life in the immediate area.
